Dr Samuel Ajayi
Samuel A. Ajayi is a transport engineer and researcher with academic credentials that include a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering, an M.Eng. in Transportation Engineering, and a PhD in the same field. He is currently affiliated with the Global Network of Young Scholars and serves as a Principal Research Fellow at the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute. He is also a Research Fellow at the Regional Transport Research and Education Centre, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana.
His primary research interests lie in Sustainable Transport, Environment, and Public Health, underscoring his dedication to advancing transport solutions that align with environmental sustainability and health outcomes with over 8 years

Meet our inspiring Member of the Month of June 2025 – an Angolan architect, associate founder of the Angolan Urban Laboratory, and a dedicated researcher in urban design and revitalisation.
Specialising in public open spaces (POSs), her work explores how urban design intersects with public transport, especially in African cities where mobility, space, and social impact are deeply connected.
At TRATSEDI, she has found a vibrant and welcoming community to share ideas, collaborate on transport-focused research, and engage with valuable publishing and job opportunities. Her contribution embodies our mission to drive inclusive, transformative transport solutions.
