1. Student & Emerging Members

Student & Emerging Members are part of the TRATSEDI learning community. They gain exposure to research, events, and discussions while developing their interests and capabilities in transformative transport services.

2. Associate Members

This category is for individuals who:

  • Demonstrate a clear interest in TRATSEDI’s mission

  • Have relevant academic, professional, or lived experience

  • Are willing to contribute to discussions, events, or collaborative activities

What this means:
Associate Members actively engage with TRATSEDI’s work through participation in webinars, projects, and knowledge-sharing activities. This is often the entry point for long-term involvement.

3. Fellows

This category recognises individuals who:

  • Have established expertise in transport, services, policy, or related fields

  • Demonstrate sustained engagement with TRATSEDI

  • Contribute actively to research, thought leadership, or project development

What this means:
Fellows play a more strategic role within TRATSEDI. They may lead initiatives, contribute to publications, mentor emerging members, and support the organisation’s growth and external engagement.

4. Senior Fellows

This is the highest level of membership, for individuals who:

  • Have significant leadership experience and recognised expertise

  • Make substantial contributions to TRATSEDI’s direction and impact

  • Support strategic partnerships, funding opportunities, and global visibility

What this means:
Senior Fellows act as ambassadors and advisors, helping to shape TRATSEDI’s long-term vision, influence, and impact across research, policy, and practice.
